Christmas and our Service Staffing over the Holidays


Once again, we are giving our employees a week off for Christmas to spend it in a contemplative way.

We are therefore closing our company from Friday, 24th December 2021 up to and including Friday, 31st December 2021.

Of course, this does not apply to our service area! We will continue to be there for you and are available for urgent cases from Monday, 27th December to Thursday, 30th December at the service e-mail address service(@)huengsberg.com.

Please understand that during this time we will not be able to perform any order-relevant services, such as:

  • Updates
  • Partner or certificate setups
  • Adjustments to mappings.


On the 3rd of January we will all be back with renewed vigour and are already looking forward to starting a safe and successful New Year 2022 with you!

Secure your production planning by checking your call-off data for duplicates!

Are you also faced with the challenge of receiving duplicate call-off data from your EDI communication partner and is this making your entire production planning unstable? Do you invest a lot of time in manually correcting the call-off data and checking and deleting duplicate EDI data records?

Then we have just the right thing for you to optimise your processes!

With our new module ediDAX.DuplicateCheck, you can have incoming message duplicates recognised on the basis of various criteria such as partner and message type down to, for example, the call-off number in conjunction with the customer part number.

Our duplicate check has a flexible structure, so any "meaningful" field in a call-off can be configured and used for this checking mechanism.

When a duplicate is detected, you receive an e-mail with the corresponding data and can use this to decide whether the data should be processed further or " sorted out" so that no message duplicates end up in your ERP system. If desired, this duplicate e-mail can also be sent to your communication partner in parallel.

This enables you to regain control over the data that should flow into your ERP system and secures your planning and production process!


Did we make you curious? The new module ediDAX.DuplicateCheck will be available with the launch of the new version ediDAX 3.3 starting at the beginning of 2022.

ediDAX and engDAX 3.3 - what else can the new version do?


In addition to the ediDAX.DuplicateCheck we have added some interesting and process optimising features to the new engDAX / ediDAX version 3.3 which should make using the system easier for you.

Quicker error handling with Multiselect

We have improved the error handling of the process cards in the web interface and optimised the usage! Previously, each process card had to be handled individually. It is now possible to perform all functionalities (reactivate, cancel and end order processing) via a multiselect with checkboxes.


Automatic clean-up of the transaction overview (only in ediDAX)

Through an extension of the EdiWebinterface module, you now have the option of automatically removing older transactions from the database. There are two new system parameters for configuring the clean-up, which can be edited in the system settings in the interface.

According to the settings, the clean-up mechanism is triggered once a day by a task in the task scheduler. Once updated, it will be triggered every day at 23:15 by default.

The new DAXware version 3.3 will be available starting March 2022 and is, as always, free of charge for you as a maintenance customer. Only the costs of the installation service are incurred.

You have already signed a maintenance contract with Hüngsberg, which entitles you to free updates of the software. But now you also want to have a better grip and the ability to calculate the costs for the installation of the update? You may also no longer want to have to worry about the planning and implementation of DAXware updates.

With our update services for DAXware this is very easy, because you can simply add the item "update services" to your maintenance contract and Hüngsberg will take care of the rest!



Depending on your update needs we contact you every year or every second year to arrange an appointment for the update installation with you and then carry it out as discussed. This way your DAXware solution is always up to date and you can take care of the other important things in your area of responsibility.
